Meeting with H.E. Mr. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs (7 October 2025)

The Secretary-General met with the Russian Foreign Minister to discuss the current and future cooperation between Russia and the ACD. Key highlights include recognition of ACD’s growing role as a pan-Asian cooperation platform, Russia’s reaffirmed commitment to ACD initiatives, especially in multilateral and sports cooperation, and confirmation of Russia’s hosting of the first-ever ACD Ministerial Meeting on Sports in Samara, November 2025.
